As you walk up the steps to the building

row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is
facing forward with a full frontal view ... it is Moses and he is holding the

86% of Americans
believe in God. Therefore, it is very hard to understand why there is such a
mess about having the Ten Commandments on display or "In God We Trust" on our
money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the
other 14% to Sit Down and SHUT UP!!!
This was sent to me by email. I found it to make a strong point and I wanted
to share this with the visitors to my site.

When President Lincoln proclaimed a national day of Thanksgiving, he clearly
set forth that the purpose was to express thanksgiving to God. Lincoln
declared, "The year that is growing toward its close has been filled
with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties,
which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source
from which they come, others have been added which are of so extraordinary
a nature that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which
is habitually insensitive to even watchful providence of Almighty God...I
do, therefore, invite my fellow-citizens, in every part of the United States,
and also those who are at sea, and those who are sojourning in foreign
lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next as a
day of thanksgiving and praise to our beneficent Father."
