FRIENDS FOREVER!
Friends forever we'll always be,
Through thick and thin, you and me.
These days we share, we count as gain,
Our memories shelter us from life's rain,
Your friendship came as a surprise,
I didn't expect the warmth in your eyes.
Your caring heart, your smile so warm,
Are all that will carry me through life's storm.
The times we chat with an open heart,
Carry me through when we're apart.
The people I draw close to are very few,
And I can't explain what drew me to you.
Why question the blessings God sends our way,
Or how God answers the prayers we pray.
Warm thoughts of you I'll hold dear,
Each day throughout each year.
